What Is ShoreWatch™?

Honc’s ShoreWatch™ program is a proactive, membership-based system designed to monitor and maintain your waterfront property year-round. Members receive quarterly (every three months) visits from a qualified marine technician who inspects, services, and documents the condition of your dock, lift, and seawall.

In addition to expert maintenance, ShoreWatch™ members receive priority service after storm events, ensuring their property receives immediate attention when it matters most.

ShoreWatch™ Membership Includes

• Quarterly service visits by qualified technicians
• Lubrication and maintenance for up to four boat lifts (as required by manufacturer warranties)
• Detailed condition reports emailed after every visit
• Optional repair estimates for any marine-related issues discovered
• Priority response for storm-related repairs and rehabilitation
• Boat lift canopy removal and reinstallation before and after storm events (fees apply)
• Cradle strapping and stabilization prior to storms (fees apply)
• Monitoring of boat placement on lift bunk systems

Additional Care & Maintenance Services

• Routine boat lift maintenance, lubrication, and appearance cleaning
• Instruction on proper boat lift use and operation
• Historical research on dock and seawall age to identify maintenance priorities

• Canopy and fastening mechanisms
• Rusted or loose hardware
• Piling and pile wrap condition (marine borer activity)
• Dock framing, decking, and cross-bracing stability
• Pile caps
• Water depth for lift operation
• Boat lift remote control and auto-stop function
• Boathouse roof and tiki hut condition
• Accessories such as cleats and ladders (code compliance)

Seawall

• Slab penetration and joint integrity
• Cracking, spalling, and concrete deterioration
