Diagnosis Agreement
For a fee of $285, Honc Docks & Lifts, Inc. will visually and physically inspect all boatlifts on customer’s single family property, or individual boatslip on multi-family properties. Customer will be provided with a verbal or written quote for all needed repairs.
Upon authorization of customer, Honc will complete any needed repairs while onsite, or will schedule a time to return to repair boatlifts after time or parts are available.
Should Customer choose to sign up for Honc’s SHOREWATCH Program, the $285 will be credited to customer’s shorewatch account which will result in the first 3 months of the program at no charge.
Neptune and Dolphin Brand Boatlifts, if within the warranty period, will be inspected at no cost. If damage to lift is deemed outside the scope of the boatlift warranty, customer will incur the standard $285 fee.
Credit Card Authorization: By providing a credit card to Honc Docks & Lifts, Inc. the customer authorizes Honc to charge that card for any payments due from diagnosis or repairs complete.
Due to the nature of boatlifts in disrepair, components of the boatlift may be damaged while diagnosing issues (i.e. rusted bolts or electric conduit). Customer authorizes Honc to attempt to diagnose lift with the understanding that cost may be incurred to repair dock and lift components which are a result of the act of diagnosing. Customer agrees to Hold harmless Honc for any damage to these components.
Customer agrees to hold harmless Honc for any damage to boats sitting on lifts. Honc will work in a professional manner to avoid damage. Honc will not remove boat off of lift without customers assistance. If possible, we recommend customer to remove boat off of lift prior to arrival.
